Last updated: June 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Best Answer Hub ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you visit our website or purchase digital products. It applies to all visitors regardless of location and is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For information specifically about cookies and tracking technologies, please see our Cookie Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide voluntarily
- Contact details: when you reach out via our contact form or email us directly.
Information collected automatically
- Log data: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time spent on each page, referring URLs, and device type.
- Device information: operating system, screen resolution, and browser language.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy for a complete breakdown of categories, purposes, and retention periods.
Purchase and payment data
When you purchase a digital product through Best Answer Hub, your payment is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. We do not collect, store, or process your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment credentials. Paddle handles all payment data, billing, tax calculation, and invoicing as an independent data controller.
Paddle may share the following transaction data with us for order fulfillment and customer support:
- Your email address (for delivery of digital products and receipt).
- Transaction ID, product purchased, and purchase date.
- Country of residence (for tax and compliance purposes).
For details on how Paddle processes your payment data, see Paddle's Privacy Policy and Buyer Terms.
What we do NOT collect
All free tools on Best Answer Hub (including the Mortgage Calculator, AI Cost Calculator, Image Compressor, PDF Converter, and 80+ others) run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. This means:
- We do not see, store, or process any files you upload to our tools.
- We do not collect tool inputs, outputs, or usage data.
- We do not require accounts, passwords, or personal information to use any tool.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To operate and maintain our website: ensuring pages load correctly and content is accessible.
- To analyze traffic and improve our content: understanding which articles are helpful so we can produce better recommendations.
- To track affiliate conversions: when you click partner links, we use tracking to attribute sales and earn commissions. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
- To fulfill digital product purchases: delivering purchased PDF reports and assessment results via email.
- To comply with legal obligations: responding to lawful requests and maintaining records as required by law.
Affiliate links and data sharing
Our site contains affiliate links. When you click these links, the vendor may receive your click data (including approximate location, device type, and referral source) to attribute the conversion to us. If you make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay.
Under CCPA/CPRA, this data sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered "sharing" personal information. We provide a clear "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism through our cookie preference center and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals automatically. See our Cookie Policy for opt-out instructions.
We only recommend products we genuinely believe are useful. We do not sell your personal information to affiliate partners or any third party.
Third-party services and data recipients
We use trusted third-party services to operate our site and process transactions. These services may process data on our behalf:
- Payment processor: Paddle.com Market Limited acts as our Merchant of Record for all transactions, handling payment processing, tax collection, invoicing, and refunds. Paddle is an independent data controller for payment data.
- Analytics providers: Google Analytics 4 (IP anonymization is enabled by default in GA4; data sharing with Google is disabled) to understand traffic patterns.
- Hosting and CDN providers: Hostinger, for serving our website content securely and quickly.
- Affiliate network platforms: Amazon Associates, CJ Affiliate, Impact, PartnerStack, and Awin, for conversion tracking.
We have agreements in place with these service providers that restrict their use of your data to the services they perform for us. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:
- Analytics data: retained for up to 26 months, then aggregated and anonymized.
- Contact form submissions: retained for 12 months unless you request deletion.
- Affiliate conversion data: retained for the duration required by our partner agreements, typically 12–24 months.
- Server logs: retained for 90 days for security and debugging, then deleted.
- Purchase transaction records: retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations. This includes order ID, product, date, and email address provided by Paddle.
Cross-border data transfers
Our website is hosted on servers that may be located outside your country of residence. If you are in the EU/EEA, your data may be transferred to the United States or other countries. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where required by GDPR, and we only work with service providers that maintain adequate data protection standards.
Paddle processes payment data in accordance with its own data processing agreements and may transfer data internationally under Standard Contractual Clauses and other approved transfer mechanisms.
