Create narrated, animated videos on your own laptop — no GPU, no API fees, no cloud rendering and no subscription.

Download Free · 1.2 MB

No email, no account, no checkout. It is a toolkit rather than an app and needs Python and Node — full requirements below.

Launch window closes Thursday 10 September, 12:00 UTC. Normally $99.

Before you install it

This is a real toolkit, not an app. There is no installer and no button that makes a video. It runs on your machine, and it needs a couple of things already there.

An AI agent
The skills are written to the Agent Skills standard and are proven on Claude Code, which needs a paid Claude plan — it is not on the free tier. The Python tools underneath run on their own from the command line if you would rather drive it yourself.
Python 3.10+ and Node.js 18+
Installed before you start. If you have never installed either, the pack's own install guide walks it, but budget an hour rather than ten minutes.
Graphics card
None needed. No GPU, no CUDA, no VRAM. The voice runs on your processor and the picture is animated rather than generated.
Disk space
About 1.5 GB free, plus roughly 50 MB per finished video.
Internet
For the install and a one-time voice-model download of about 350 MB. After that the pipeline runs offline.
Operating system
Built and proven on Windows. The Python and Node stack is cross-platform; macOS and Linux should work, but they have not been through the same testing.

What you are getting

Not a demo and not a cut-down version. This is the product.

Five agent skills

Setup, research, script-writing, animation and publishing. Plain readable Markdown — you can see exactly what your agent is being told.

The complete toolkit

Speech, captions, timing, loudness, sound design, image generation and the render pipeline. Around twenty Python tools.

A locked design system

Four backgrounds and thirty-one kit components — cards, charts, maps, carousels, overlays, silhouettes, 3D. Twelve compositions render before you write a word.

The gates

Nine checks that run before an expensive render, so a wrong decision costs a minute on paper instead of half an hour on screen.

An install that proves itself

It speaks a real sentence, measures the audio, renders a real frame, and exits non-zero if any of that is wrong.

Commercial use of everything you make

The default voice is Apache-2.0. Sell what you produce, monetise it, put it anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

What is in the Best Answer Hub free AI video and voice-over pack?

The complete studio: five agent skills covering setup, research, scripting, animation and publishing, around twenty Python tools for speech, captions, timing, loudness and rendering, and a locked design system of thirty-one components. It is the same download that sells for $99, free for 48 hours.

Is the free download the complete product, or a cut-down trial?

It is the complete product. Identical files, no watermark, no feature locked behind a key, no expiry and nothing that phones home. The Best Answer Hub AI Video & Voice-Over Skill Pack has no trial edition, so the only difference between this download and the paid one is the price paid for it.

Does this generate realistic AI footage like Sora, or animated graphics?

Animated graphics. It composes video from code — typography, cards, charts, diagrams and motion — rather than generating footage from a prompt. It will not invent photoreal video of a place or a person. That distinction is the whole reason it runs without a graphics card.

Can I make AI videos without a GPU?

Yes, because composing is not generating. Diffusion video models typically need a dedicated GPU with 8–16 GB of VRAM, which is why almost every guide answers no. Drawing frames from code and narrating them with a small speech model runs on an ordinary processor instead. It was built on a laptop with integrated graphics only.

Do I need a paid Claude subscription to use this?

To drive it with an agent, yes. The skills follow the Agent Skills standard and are proven on Claude Code, which requires a paid Claude plan rather than the free tier. The Python tools underneath are ordinary command-line scripts and run on their own without any agent, subscription or API key.

Do I need to know how to code to use it?

Not to make videos, but the install is a terminal job. An agent reads the skills and runs the pipeline. Comfort with copying three commands into a terminal, and roughly an hour the first time, is the honest entry requirement. The pack includes an install guide written for people who have never used Python.

Does it run offline, and is my script sent to the cloud?

Nothing written is uploaded. After a one-time download of the speech model, around 355 MB, the narration and rendering run entirely on the machine with no account and no API key. Only the AI agent driving the pipeline talks to the internet, and the Python tools do not need one.

How long does a video take to render on a normal laptop?

Measured on this project’s own laptop with integrated graphics: a seventy-second vertical reel takes roughly two and a half minutes, and a nine-minute narrated episode has landed anywhere between twenty-seven and fifty-seven minutes. Free memory moves that number far more than the processor does.

What voices are included, and does the AI voice sound robotic?

Fifty-four voices across eight languages ship with Kokoro-82M, the default being a British male. For clean narration it is genuinely good, measured on this project at roughly three times faster than real time on CPU. It is weaker at dramatic emotional range, where it reads flatter than a human would.

Why does the AI voice mispronounce years, numbers or acronyms?

Small speech models normalise text before speaking, so a year like 1999 can be read as a whole number and short acronyms can be spelled out letter by letter. It is a known behaviour rather than a fault, and it is fixable: supply the pronunciation in IPA in brackets and the model uses it.

Will YouTube demonetize videos made with AI tools?

No. YouTube states plainly that channels using AI in their content remain eligible to monetize, and that its guidelines apply regardless of how content was made. What it does refuse to monetize is content that “looks like it’s made with a template” and channels where videos feel interchangeable from one to the next.

Does an animated explainer with an AI voice need an AI disclosure label?

It depends on the platform, and they genuinely differ. YouTube’s trigger is realism, and its exemption list covers fully animated work, so an obviously animated explainer normally sits outside it. Meta is broader: its own examples name “a reel narrated with a realistic AI-generated voiceover” as requiring a label. Label it on Meta.

Do I need a Remotion licence to sell videos made with this?

Individuals, non-profits and for-profit companies of up to three employees use Remotion free, and that free use explicitly covers commercial work. From four people upward a company licence applies, currently $25 per seat per month, paid to Remotion and not included in this pack. Check the tier before building on it.

Is there a free offline alternative to NotebookLM’s Video Overview?

This is close to one. NotebookLM caps Video Overviews per day by plan and runs in the cloud; this pipeline composes narrated, animated video locally with no daily limit and no account. The trade is control for convenience: the script, the pacing and the visuals are decisions rather than a single button.

What happens after the 48 hours — do I lose what I downloaded?

Nothing is lost, and nothing expires. There is no licence check, no activation and no phone-home, so the download keeps working permanently and everything produced with it is commercially usable. The launch window is about how long the Best Answer Hub AI Video & Voice-Over Skill Pack stays free, never about what happens to a copy already on your machine.

If it works for you, that is the only payment I want

There is no team here and no marketing budget — it is one person, a laptop, and an unreasonable number of evenings.

So if you get a video out of it, or even just get the install to go green: come and say so. And if it breaks, say that instead — the broken ones are more useful. Every check in this pack exists because something went wrong twice.

What you keep

Whatever happens to this page, nothing changes for anyone who already has the pack — no licence check, no expiry, no activation, no phone-home. What you downloaded is yours permanently, including commercial use of everything you make with it. The free window is only about how long it stays free to take; it is normally $99 one-time.
